Meet Our Dental Team – Addison, NY
A Dentistry Team That Wants to Know You Better
The dental team at Addison Family Dentistry is just like family. Many of our dedicated dental team members have been with us for many years; several of our dentistry patients have been seeing the same dental hygienist for decades. During your visits, all of our dentistry team members will strive to make you comfortable, and they’ll take the time to learn more about you outside of our dental office. You can find out more about our dental team members below; they’re looking forward to seeing you in person once you schedule an appointment.
Alison, Dental Hygienist
Alison’s career in dentistry spans an impressive 37 years so far, with 30 of them spent as part of our team. She attended Broome Community College and is CPR certified, and she takes additional dental continuing education courses well above the amount required each year. More than anything else, she loves helping people, especially our wonderful patients and team members!
Alison lives with her husband, son, dog, and three cats. She likes to spend her free time exercising, reading, sewing, baking, and cross stitching.
Angela, Dental Hygienist
Ever since she attended Monroe Community College, Angela has spent the entirety of her dental career – which spans 11 years and counting – at our dental office. She finds it incredibly rewarding to be able to make people smile with bright, clean teeth.
Angela is married with two young children. As a family, they love doing projects, camping, and spending time in the great outdoors.
Cynthia, Dental Hygienist
Cynthia’s dental career covers 15 years so far, with a handful of them taking place at our dental office. She completed her dental hygiene training at Broome Community College and has earned her CPR certification. She enjoys being able to see our wonderful patients and team members every day!
At home, Cynthia has an amazing husband and a fur baby named Daisy (she has an intense love for cats!). She likes gardening and spending time outside. In fact, the beach is her “happy place!”
Heather, Dental Hygienist
Heather has worked in the field of dentistry – and at our dental office – for almost three decades! She graduated from Broome Community College with her dental hygiene license, and she loves getting to interact with her patients and coworkers.
Heather is married with three children. Outside of dentistry, her hobbies include hiking, yoga, paddleboarding, traveling, and cooking. She also has an interest in holistic health.
Jenna, Dental Hygienist
Jenna joined our team about 10 years ago and has worked in dentistry for 15 years so far. Originally from Mansfield, PA, she studied at Broome Community College. She loves that her work family is committed to supporting each other, and she also treasures getting to know and help her patients. She wouldn’t trade this job for anything!
Jenna has been happily married for a decade, and she has an eight-year-old son and a seven-year-old daughter. As a family, they raise beef cattle, and they also have Labrador Retrievers and horses. They love hunting and fishing, and they visit the Outer Banks every year.
Laura, Dental Hygienist
Laura’s dentistry career covers 13 years and counting, all of which has been spent at our dental office. She attended Corning Community College and Erie Community College. In addition to her dental hygiene license, she is certified in local anesthesia, CPR, and AED (automated external defibrillator).
Laura grew up on a dairy farm right here in Addison and is the youngest of five children. She is married with three kids, and the latest addition to their family is a German Shepherd. When Laura isn’t at work, you can usually find her cheering on her children at their sporting events, cooking, baking, working on the house, or volunteering at her church.
Kathy, Dental Hygiene Assistant
Kathy has worked at our dental office for almost a decade, but she has 25+ years of experience in the dental field so far. Her positive, upbeat personality makes her well-suited for helping our patients smile each and every day!
Kathy has a wonderful husband, Bob, and a dog named Dolly. She also has a stepson, a daughter-in-law, and two beautiful granddaughters. She often spends her free time doing DIY crafts, birdwatching, going to dirt track races, and getting together with friends.
Amy, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Amy has been at our dental office for a few years now, but she already had 16 years of experience in the dental field by the time she joined us. After studying music at the State University of New York at Fredonia, she attended Monroe Community College, where she maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout the entire dental assisting program. Her favorite part of her job is definitely being able to help people!
Outside of the dental office, Amy is engaged to the wonderful Nick. She enjoys cooking, baking, painting, crafts, and spending time with friends. Here’s a fun fact about Amy: she’s a classically trained violinist.
Leslie, Front Desk
Leslie might be a relatively new addition to our team, but she has been working in the dental field for almost a decade. Originally from Lindley, NY, she attended Corning Community College. She cherishes being able to work with such an amazing group of people!
One reason why Leslie is so hardworking is the fact that her family has been farmers for generations. She’s incredibly close with her family and enjoys outdoor activities, such as hunting, fishing, and bonfires. She also has a huge love for animals and would love to have an animal rescue someday.
Cindy, Receptionist
Originally from right here in Addison, Cindy has worked at our dental office for a few years now, and she loves being able to work with such a great team! She attended Corning Community College.
In her free time, Cindy enjoys boating, walking, reading, and hanging out with her grandkids. Something interesting about Cindy is that she is a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo!
Susan, Receptionist
Susan has worked in dentistry for an impressive 41+ years and has been a vital member of our team for nearly three decades. She completed the dental assisting program at Bryant & Stratton College in Buffalo, NY. Our patients are unquestionably her favorite part of her job!
At home, Susan is married with one son, and she likes to spend her free time reading, crafting, and boating. One interesting fact about Susan is that she deeply loves animals.
Tammy, Receptionist
Initially from Coopers Plains, NY, Tammy studied at Corning Community College. After working at our dental office for 11 years so far, she still loves getting to meet new people and talk with our patients every day. She especially loves her work family!
Tammy lives with her husband and two dogs. She enjoys crafting and quilting, as well as watching documentaries and reading books about true crime. She is also known for her love of Scooby Doo!
